Put it on your site
Paste one line before the closing body tag, or install the WordPress plugin and paste your chat key. It works on any website, hosted with us or anywhere else.
Choose how it looks
Pick your colour, the corner it sits in, the name visitors see and the first thing it says. On a right-to-left page it moves to the opposite corner by itself.
Let the assistant answer first
Switch the assistant on and it replies straight away. Add the AI chat agent and it answers from your own pages, with a link to the page each answer came from.
Take over when a person is needed
Visitors who ask for a person, or ask something the assistant cannot answer, are handed to you with the whole conversation. Anything nobody picks up within 5 minutes is emailed to you.

Answers from your own pages
Add the AI chat agent to a site and the assistant answers from what your website actually says. On a site we host it reads your pages straight from the server, including pages nothing links to; on any other site it reads your sitemap and follows links, up to 120 pages. You can add notes it should know that are not on any page.
It answers only from what it found, in two or three sentences, in the visitor's language, and links to the pages it used. It is told never to invent prices, opening hours, phone numbers or policies — with nothing to go on, it says so and offers a person.

Is Zinn® Chat really free?
Yes. The chat box, the inbox, missed-chat emails and your colours and greeting cost nothing, with 100 assistant replies a month and 30 days of conversation history. Premium adds 5,000 assistant replies, keeps history for as long as your account is open and lets you remove the branding.
Do I need to host my website with Zinn Digital®?
No. The chat works on any website. If you host a WordPress site with us, the free plugin is already installed, so you only switch the chat on. Premium is an upgrade on any website.
How does the AI answer from my website?
The AI chat agent reads your pages — up to 120 of them — and answers from what they say, with a link to the page the answer came from. If nothing on your site answers the question, it says so and offers a person instead of guessing.
What happens when nobody is online to answer?
If a conversation waits 5 minutes with no reply, it is emailed to the address you choose, with the visitor's messages and how to reply. On Premium you can set opening hours, and outside them visitors are asked for an email address.
Will a chat widget slow my site down?
Zinn® Chat is about 9 KB compressed and waits until your page is ready before it loads anything, so it does not delay what your visitors see first.
What happens when the monthly assistant replies run out?
New questions go straight to you instead of the assistant. Nothing is cut off and no visitor sees an error; the allowance starts again next month.
Can I use it on WordPress?
Yes. Install the Zinn® Chat plugin, paste your chat key into Settings, tick the box and it appears on every page. On any other site, paste one script line before the closing body tag.
Does it store my visitors' personal data?
It keeps what a conversation needs: the messages, the page the visitor was on, their browser language and any name or email they give you. No IP address is stored and no cookies are set.
